The final official HLP team meeting

After 8+ years of preproposals, proposals, notification of a funded grant, driving hundreds of thousands of miles to recon, install, maintain, and demobilize a large seismic network, the final NSF-Continental Dynamics High Lava Plains Project team meeting will be held next week in Bend, Oregon.  It should be a lot of fun – about 40 geologists, geochemists, and geophysicists will get together to share our latest results from the project, and make preparations for a monograph and a journal special issue. It will be a fantasic time!
